Ethereum casinos sit in an odd spot. ETH is the second most widely accepted coin in crypto gambling, and the Ethereum network carries a huge share of all dollar stablecoins. Yet for a small deposit, Ethereum can be one of the more expensive ways to fund a casino account.
This page compares the ethereum casinos in our ranking on what matters when you pay in ETH or in tokens that live on Ethereum: gas, confirmations, network choice, the cost of clearing each welcome offer, and the mistakes that send coins somewhere they cannot come back from. Brand facts come only from operator terms or published summaries we have read and dated. Payout speeds are what operators state, not times we measured.
We will also show where a cheaper chain does the same job for less. Sometimes the best ETH move is not to use Ethereum at all.
The best ethereum casinos and their Haxies Index scores
Here is every casino in our data that confirms ETH in its cashier, with its Haxies Index score. Partner casinos are featured first and carry a Partner badge; within each group the order follows the Index, and every score and Index rank is calculated the same way for all 17. The Index adds up three parts: Clear (40 points for how cheap the welcome offer is to turn into withdrawable money), Cashout (35 points for stated payout speed, minus 5 if the operator publishes withdrawal caps) and Cover (25 points for a published licence number, named owner and 24/7 support).
Partner casinos are listed first. Every casino's Haxies Index score is calculated the same way and is never changed for money.

Fourteen of our 17 brands confirm Ethereum. The three left off are Winna, CasinoCrypto.io and Vave, which take crypto but have not published a coin list we can check. Ybets is on this list even though it confirms only ETH and USDT, which makes it unusual: an ETH-first casino rather than a BTC-first one.
Wild.io has the top Index score, 90 out of 100. Its welcome offer prices at $80 per $100 of bonus, its Anjouan licence number is published and its owner is named. It gives up 5 Cashout points for publishing a maximum withdrawal per period. BitStarz and Jack come next on the Index at 87. Cybet, at 84, states instant payouts and confirms USDC alongside ETH and USDT, which gives you a choice of assets on the same chain.
How gas works when you pay a casino in ETH
Every Ethereum transaction uses gas, a measure of computation. A plain ETH transfer uses 21,000 gas. A token transfer, such as sending USDT or USDC, runs a smart contract and typically uses two to three times that, depending on the token contract.
You pay for gas in ETH. Since the network's EIP-1559 upgrade, the price has two parts: a base fee that the protocol sets according to demand and burns, and a priority fee (a tip) that goes to the validator. Your wallet shows both, usually as one estimate.
A worked gas example
Say the base fee is 10 gwei and you tip 1 gwei. A gwei is one billionth of an ETH. A plain ETH send costs 21,000 x 11 gwei = 231,000 gwei, or 0.000231 ETH. At an ETH price of $3,000 that is about $0.69.
A USDT transfer using, say, 65,000 gas at the same rates costs 0.000715 ETH, about $2.15. If the base fee jumps to 50 gwei during a busy hour, the same token transfer costs over $3.
These numbers move constantly. The point is the ratio: tokens cost more to send than ETH itself, and busy periods multiply everything.
Gas on withdrawals
Most of our ethereum casinos say they charge no fee of their own on crypto payouts, and that the network cost is yours. In practice, the operator deducts gas from your withdrawal or sets a minimum that covers it. Qzino is the only brand in our data publishing a flat per-coin fee, and for ETH it is 0.0005 ETH. BC.Game says it shows the network fee before you confirm.
Why gas does not scale with amount
Like Bitcoin fees, gas depends on the work the network does, not on the value moved. Sending 0.01 ETH and 10 ETH costs the same. That makes Ethereum cheap for large deposits and relatively expensive for small ones.
ERC-20, layer 2s and which network your cashier means
This is where most Ethereum confusion starts. "ETH" in a cashier menu can mean several things, and so can "USDT".
ERC-20 is the Ethereum mainnet token standard
ERC-20 is the standard that tokens on Ethereum mainnet follow. When a cashier lists "USDT (ERC-20)", it means Tether issued on Ethereum mainnet. When it lists "ETH", it usually means native ETH on mainnet, though some cashiers specify the network in brackets.
Layer 2 networks
Layer 2 networks such as Arbitrum, Optimism and Base batch transactions and post them to Ethereum. Fees are a fraction of mainnet's. They also hold ETH and tokens, but at different addresses on a different chain.
None of the operators in our data publishes which layer 2 networks its cashier supports. Some casinos list them, some do not. Check the network dropdown in the cashier before you assume. Sending from Arbitrum to a mainnet-only deposit address will not arrive, even though the address looks identical.
The same address on several chains
Ethereum-style addresses start with "0x" and work across every EVM-compatible chain: mainnet, layer 2s, BNB Smart Chain and others. That is convenient for wallets and dangerous for casino deposits. The address does not tell you which chain the casino watches. Only the cashier label does.
Ethereum casino payouts and limits compared
This table pulls together the withdrawal facts published by ten of the brands that confirm ETH. Speeds are stated by the operator, not measured by us.
| Casino | Stated payout speed | Also confirms USDC | Published cap | Index |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Wild.io | Under 10 min | Not confirmed | Maximum per period published | 90 |
| BitStarz | Under 10 min | Not confirmed | No cashout limits stated | 87 |
| Jack | Under 5 min | Not confirmed | No published cap | 87 |
| Cybet | Instant | Yes | No published limits on major coins | 84 |
| Bets.io | Instant to 48 hrs | Yes | 1,000 to 3,000 USDT daily | 82 |
| TrustDice | Instant | Not confirmed | Standard crypto thresholds | 80 |
| Cocobet | Instant | Not confirmed | Level-based, rises with VIP rank | 75 |
| BC.Game | Minutes after approval | Yes | €10,000 per month | 75 |
| Crypto-Games.io | Instant | Yes | Standard crypto thresholds | 70 |
| Ybets | Unspecified | Not confirmed | No published limits | 57 |
Stated speed is about when the casino releases a payout. Ethereum then needs to include it in a block, which normally takes seconds to a minute, plus whatever confirmations your receiving wallet or exchange waits for. If speed is your priority across every coin, our list of fast payout crypto casinos ranks each brand by its stated time.
Confirmations and finality on Ethereum
Ethereum produces a block every 12 seconds. That is much faster than Bitcoin's average of 10 minutes, and it is why ETH deposits usually credit quickly.
Casinos wait for a number of confirmations before they credit you. None of the operators in our data publishes the exact figure, so look at the cashier screen. Some credit after a handful of blocks. Others wait longer for larger amounts.
What "finality" means
Ethereum's proof-of-stake design reaches economic finality after two epochs, roughly 13 minutes. After that, reversing a block would require destroying a large amount of staked ETH. Some operators wait for finality on big deposits. Most credit well before it.
Stuck transactions
If you set your max fee too low and the base fee rises, your transaction can sit pending. Because Ethereum transactions use a nonce, a sequence number per account, a stuck transaction also blocks every later transaction from the same wallet.
The fix is to send a replacement transaction with the same nonce and a higher fee. Most wallets offer a "speed up" button that does this. Do not send a second deposit from the same wallet while the first is stuck, because it will queue behind it.
Stablecoins on Ethereum versus cheaper chains
A large share of casino deposits are not ETH at all. They are USDT or USDC, and many of those travel on Ethereum.
Stablecoins solve the volatility problem: a dollar balance stays roughly a dollar. But on Ethereum mainnet you pay token-transfer gas, which is the more expensive kind. The same USDT on Tron (TRC-20) or BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20) usually costs far less to send.
When ERC-20 stablecoins make sense
If your stablecoins already sit on Ethereum, bridging or swapping them to another chain also costs gas and fees. For a single large deposit, paying mainnet gas once can be cheaper than moving funds elsewhere first.
ERC-20 also has the widest wallet and exchange support. If you want the least chance of a cashier rejecting a network, Ethereum mainnet is the safest bet.
When to switch chains
For small or frequent deposits, mainnet stablecoins lose. A $2 to $3 transfer cost on a $50 deposit is 4% to 6% gone before you play. Most USDT casinos offer at least one cheaper network next to ERC-20, so it pays to look before you send.
Cybet, Bets.io, BC.Game, Crypto-Games.io and Qzino confirm USDC as well as USDT. If you prefer Circle's stablecoin, those are the brands to look at, and our Cybet review covers its full coin list.
What does an ETH welcome bonus cost to clear?
The cost of clearing an ETH bonus equals the bonus amount times the wagering multiple times the house edge of your clearing game. At 40x on the bonus only and a 2% edge, $100 of bonus means $4,000 of wagering and about $80 of expected cost. Deposit-plus-bonus wagering on a 100% match roughly doubles that.
That number drives our Clear score. It does not depend on which coin you use, so long as your bonus and wagering are measured in the same unit. You can see the bands and the arithmetic for each brand in how we test crypto casinos.
Cheapest ETH-friendly offers
Wild.io, BitStarz and Bets.io all price at $80 per $100 claimed, earning the full 40 Clear points. All three use 40x wagering. Wild.io and BitStarz count the bonus only. Bets.io counts bonus plus free-spin winnings, and adds a 2 USDT max bet, a 5x-deposit cap on bonus wins, one day to activate and seven to wager.
Worked example at Wild.io. You deposit the equivalent of $200 in ETH and receive a $200 bonus on a 100% stage. Wagering is 40 x $200 = $8,000. At a 2% edge, the expected cost is $160, against $200 of bonus. On average you come out about $40 ahead from the bonus, before variance. Our Wild.io review shows how its three-deposit structure adds up.
Expensive ETH-friendly offers
Cybet's offer is a 100% deposit bonus paid in bonus coins, with a 40x base that increases on higher-RTP game tiers. We price it at $160 per $100 claimed. mBit Casino prices at $120. Rainbet's 40x on deposit plus bonus prices at $208.
Ybets uses 60x on deposit plus bonus. On a 100% match, a $100 deposit and $100 bonus means 60 x $200 = $12,000 of wagering and about $240 of expected cost against a $100 bonus. That is a losing trade on average. Our Ybets review explains why its Clear score sits at 16.
Qzino's effective 500x, from its Q-Rake unlock formula, works out to roughly $1,000 of expected cost per $100 of bonus. Treat that as a loyalty perk, not a reason to deposit.
Cashback instead of a match
Cocobet takes a different route: 50% cashback on net losses in your first week, paid wager-free as real money. There is no wagering to price, which is why it scores 30 on Clear. If you prefer a rebate you can withdraw over a match you must grind, crypto casino cashback offers like this are the simplest to value.
ETH price swings and your casino balance
If your casino balance is held in ETH, its dollar value moves with the market while you play. That is a second bet stacked on top of the games.
Worked example. ETH is at $3,000 and you deposit 0.2 ETH, worth $600. You finish level at 0.2 ETH, but ETH has dropped 8% to $2,760. Your balance is now worth $552. You lost $48 without losing a single hand.
The reverse happens too. The useful habit is to decide in advance which unit you are counting in. If your budget is in dollars, either deposit a stablecoin or accept that price moves are part of the result.
Some cashiers convert deposits to a display currency and hold your balance in dollars. Others keep native ETH. Check which kind you have in the wallet section of your account before you start.
How to deposit ETH at a casino, step by step
Here is a careful first-deposit routine for any of the ethereum casinos above.
1. Read the offer and the country list
Check minimum deposit, wagering, wagering base and max bet. Check the restricted-country list too. Whether online gambling is allowed for you depends on where you live, and each operator publishes its own list of countries it does not accept. Check both.
2. Choose the network in the cashier
Open the cashier, choose ETH (or USDT/USDC), then look for a network selector. Note exactly what it says: Ethereum, ERC-20, Arbitrum, BEP-20 or something else.
3. Match the network in your wallet
Switch your wallet to the same network. In most browser wallets, the network selector sits at the top. If your funds are on a different chain from the one the cashier lists, do not send. Move them first, or pick a different coin.
4. Copy and check the address
Copy the 0x address from the cashier. Compare the first and last several characters with what your wallet shows after pasting. Address-swapping malware exists and the check costs nothing.
5. Send a small test
For anything sizeable, send a small amount first and wait for it to credit. The extra gas is cheap insurance against a typo or a network mismatch.
6. Watch it on a block explorer
Use the transaction hash to follow it on a block explorer. If it shows success and the cashier has not credited after the confirmation count, contact support with the hash.
Common mistakes at ethereum casinos
Ethereum gives you a lot of flexibility. That flexibility is also where the expensive errors live.
Wrong network, right address
Sending USDT on BNB Smart Chain to a cashier that only watches Ethereum mainnet is the classic loss. The address is valid on both chains, so your wallet does not warn you. Some operators can recover funds manually, often for a fee. Many cannot.
Sending to a token contract address
A token's contract address is not a deposit address. If you paste the USDT contract address as the recipient, the tokens go to the contract and are usually gone for good. Copy the recipient address only from the cashier.
Using an exchange that does not support the network
Withdrawing from a casino straight to an exchange can fail if the exchange does not support that network for that token. Check the exchange's deposit page for the network before you request a payout.
Not keeping ETH for gas
To send USDT or USDC on Ethereum, you need ETH in the same wallet to pay gas. A wallet holding only tokens cannot move them. Keep a small ETH buffer.
Ignoring max bet and game weighting
Bets.io caps bets at 2 USDT while a bonus is active and counts non-slot games at 5%. Betpanda counts live games at 20% and other games at 0%. Breaking a max bet rule can void the bonus. Clearing on a low-weighted game multiplies the wagering.
Forgetting the deposit turnover rule
Bets.io and BC.Game state a 1x deposit turnover before withdrawal, even without a bonus. Jack requires 1x of the first deposit plus free-spin winnings. If you deposit and try to withdraw unplayed funds, expect a refusal.
KYC, licences and trust at ethereum casinos
Most ETH-confirming brands in our data say no documents are needed at signup. That is a statement about opening an account, not a promise about withdrawals.
BitStarz reserves verification for withdrawal and runs an internal audit on every payout. Bets.io may ask for ID, proof of address, payment-method proof and possibly video at withdrawal or during AML reviews. BC.Game's KYC is risk-based and can be triggered at any time. Wild.io says any verification, including a video call, is done in English. Qzino states that no documents are needed, including for withdrawal. Our list of no KYC crypto casinos compares each of these stated lines.
On Cover, Wild.io, Jack, Cybet, Bets.io, mBit Casino, TrustDice, BC.Game, Qzino and Ybets all score 25 of 25. Betpanda publishes no gambling licence, only a Costa Rica company registration, and scores 15. Because ETH transfers cannot be reversed, a published licence and a named owner are your main recourse if something goes wrong.
Ethereum casino questions
Which ethereum casinos accept USDC as well as ETH?
In our data, Cybet, Bets.io, BC.Game, Crypto-Games.io and Qzino confirm both ETH and USDC. Check the cashier for which networks each supports, since the same coin can be offered on several chains.
Why did my ETH deposit cost more than expected?
Gas depends on network demand and on the kind of transaction. A token transfer like USDT uses more gas than a plain ETH send, and fees rise when the network is busy. Checking gas before you send, or choosing a cheaper chain the cashier supports, keeps costs down.
Can I deposit ETH from Arbitrum or Base?
Only if the cashier lists that exact network. None of the operators in our data publishes its layer 2 support, so look at the network dropdown before sending. Sending from a layer 2 to a mainnet-only address will not arrive.
How long does an ETH deposit take to credit?
Ethereum blocks arrive about every 12 seconds, so most deposits credit within a few minutes once the casino's confirmation count is reached. Large deposits may wait longer. If it is slow, check the transaction hash on a block explorer.
Do ethereum casinos charge withdrawal fees?
Most brands in our data say they charge nothing of their own on crypto payouts, but the network cost is yours. Qzino publishes a flat fee of 0.0005 ETH. BC.Game says it shows the network fee before you confirm.
Are ethereum casinos legal where I live?
It depends on your country's rules. Each operator also publishes a list of restricted countries it will not accept. Check both before you sign up.
What happens if I send tokens on the wrong network?
The funds arrive on a chain the casino may not watch. Some operators can recover them manually, often for a fee, but many cannot. Always match the wallet network to the cashier label before sending.
Is ETH or USDT better for casino deposits?
ETH is cheaper to send on Ethereum mainnet, but its price moves while you play. USDT holds a dollar value but costs more gas as a token. If you want both low fees and a stable balance, USDT on a cheaper chain the cashier supports is usually the better fit. The ethereum.org site explains gas and networks in more depth.
Picking an ethereum casino that suits you
Decide what matters most before you compare brands. For bonus value, Wild.io, BitStarz and Bets.io have the cheapest offers to clear in our data, and the BitStarz review shows why its 40x on the bonus only earns full Clear marks. For stated speed, Cybet, Cocobet, TrustDice and Crypto-Games.io all say instant, though Cocobet's terms are not yet on record with us.
For low fees, check whether the cashier offers a layer 2 or a cheaper chain for your stablecoins. For privacy, read each brand's KYC line rather than relying on "no KYC" in an advert.
Then do the three checks every time: network label, address, max bet. If you want the full field rather than the ETH filter, our ranking of the best crypto casinos scores all 17 brands on the same Index.
