Every crypto casino games lobby looks the same at first glance: thousands of tiles, a few flashing jackpots, and a row of in-house "originals" with names like Crash, Dice and Plinko. Under the paint, each game is a small machine with one setting that matters more than the rest: the house edge.
Every casino behind these games was tested and confirmed by multiple sources in the Haxies group. We read the terms and the published RTPs, then do the arithmetic. This page sets out what each game family costs per $100 you wager, how provably fair results can be checked, and which games actually help when you are clearing a bonus.
No game here is a way to make money. Some are simply cheaper to play than others, and knowing which ones lets you get more entertainment out of the same bankroll.

Partner casinos are featured first and badged; within each group the order follows the Haxies Index, which scores each casino out of 100 on three things: Clear (how cheap the welcome offer is to turn into withdrawable money), Cashout (stated payout speed, minus points for published withdrawal caps) and Cover (licence number, named owner, 24/7 support).
Game choice sits on top of that. A huge lobby is nice, but it means little if the bonus is priced badly or the cashout is capped. So pick the casino first, then pick the game.
On library size alone, the sheet is wide. Bets.io lists 14,488 games from 100+ studios. mBit Casino and Ybets each list about 11,000. At the other end, TrustDice lists 1,500+ and Qzino 1,428. More tiles do not mean better odds, but they do mean more chance of finding the specific RTP version or table you want.
For every casino's score broken down, the best crypto casinos list is the place to start. The rest of this page is about the games themselves.
What is the house edge on crypto casino games?
The house edge is the share of each bet the casino expects to keep over time. On crypto casino games it ranges from about 0.5% (blackjack with basic strategy) and 1% (most dice, crash and Plinko originals) up to 2 to 6% on slots and 5.26% on American roulette. Lower edge means your bankroll lasts longer.
Turn that into money and it gets concrete. Wager $1,000 in total on a game with a 1% edge and your expected loss is $10. Do the same on a slot with a 4% edge and it is $40. Neither number tells you what happens in one session; both tell you what the game charges on average.
Here are the standard figures for the main game families. These are general published numbers, not claims about any one casino.
| Game | Typical house edge | RTP equivalent | Who sets it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Blackjack (basic strategy, standard rules) | about 0.5% | about 99.5% | Table rules |
| Baccarat, banker bet | 1.06% | 98.94% | Fixed by the game |
| Baccarat, player bet | 1.24% | 98.76% | Fixed by the game |
| European roulette (single zero) | 2.7% | 97.3% | Fixed by the wheel |
| American roulette (double zero) | 5.26% | 94.74% | Fixed by the wheel |
| Video slots | 2% to 6% | 94% to 98% | Studio and operator |
| Crash, dice, Plinko, Mines originals | often 1% | often 99% | Operator |
| Spribe Aviator | 3% | 97% | Studio |
| Live game shows | varies by bet spot | varies | Studio |
Two things stand out. First, the cheapest classic bets are table games you can play perfectly (blackjack) or that need no decisions at all (baccarat banker). Second, the crypto originals are often priced very sharply, because operators compete on them. BC.Game, for example, lists its own Crash at 99% RTP.
The catch is the word "often". An operator can set its own dice or Plinko at any edge it likes. The number sits in the game's info or fairness panel, and that is the setting to read before you play.
RTP and volatility are two different numbers
RTP (return to player) is the long-run average payback. A 96% RTP slot returns $96 for every $100 wagered, averaged over millions of spins. It is simply 100% minus the house edge.
Volatility is how lumpy that return is. A low-volatility game pays small amounts often. A high-volatility game pays nothing for long stretches, then occasionally pays a lot. Two slots with the same 96% RTP can feel completely different because of this.
Why volatility matters more in one session
Over a single evening, volatility drives what you experience. A high-volatility slot can drain a $200 balance in twenty minutes or turn it into $2,000. A low-volatility one will usually hover around where you started, sliding slowly downward at roughly the house edge.
Neither is better. High volatility suits someone hunting a big hit with money they are fine losing. Low volatility suits someone who wants a long session or is working through a wagering requirement and wants to survive to the end of it.
Where volatility is a setting you can change
Several crypto originals let you set volatility directly. In Plinko you choose the number of rows and a risk level. In dice you pick your win chance. In Mines you choose how many mines sit on the grid. In crash you choose your cashout multiplier.
None of those settings changes the house edge. They change how the same edge is spread across outcomes. A 2x target in crash and a 50x target cost the same per dollar on average; one just loses less often and wins less when it wins.
How provably fair works on crypto casino games
Provably fair is a way for you to check, after the fact, that a result was fixed before you bet and was not changed. It is common on crypto originals (crash, dice, Plinko, Mines, keno, limbo) and rare on slots and live tables, which rely on studio RNG certification or a physical dealer instead.
The three ingredients
Server seed. The casino generates a secret random string. Before you play, it shows you only its hash (usually SHA-256), which works like a sealed envelope. You can see that something is in there, but not what.
Client seed. A string you supply, or one your browser generates that you can change. Because you control it, the casino cannot pick a server seed that produces a known bad result for you.
Nonce. A counter that goes up by one with every bet, so the same pair of seeds produces a fresh result each round.
The game combines the three (typically with HMAC-SHA256) and turns the output into a dice roll, a crash point, a Plinko path or a mine layout.
How to verify a result yourself
- Before playing, open the fairness panel and note the hashed server seed.
- Set your own client seed. Any random word works.
- Play your rounds.
- Rotate the seed pair. The casino then reveals the old server seed in plain text.
- Hash the revealed seed and check it matches the hash you saw at the start.
- Use the casino's verifier, or any independent one, to recompute each result from the seeds and nonce.
Step 5 is the one that matters. If the hash matches, the server seed was locked before your first bet.
What provably fair does not prove
It proves the result was not altered. It does not prove the game is cheap. A provably fair dice game with a 5% edge is perfectly verifiable and still expensive. Check the edge and the fairness separately.
The game families, one by one
Each family below has its own page with paytables, worked examples and the settings worth knowing. Here is the short version of what makes each one tick.
Slots
Slots are the biggest part of any lobby and the default choice for clearing bonuses, because most terms count them at 100%. RTPs usually sit between 94% and 98%, and many studios ship the same title at several RTP settings, letting the operator choose. Picking crypto slots well comes down to three checks: the RTP version, the volatility, and the max-bet clause in your bonus terms.
Live dealer tables and game shows
Live blackjack, roulette, baccarat and wheel-based game shows are streamed from studios with a real dealer. The edges match the classic table figures, but bonus contribution is usually low or zero. A crypto live casino table is a fine place to spend cash, but a poor place to clear a bonus, since live bets often count 20%, 5% or nothing.
RNG table games
Digital blackjack, roulette and baccarat use a certified random number generator instead of a dealer. Rules vary more than on live tables, so read the info panel: dealer standing on soft 17, blackjack paying 3:2 rather than 6:5, and the number of decks all shift the edge.
Crash and Aviator
A multiplier climbs from 1.00x and can stop at any moment. You cash out before it crashes, or lose the stake. Operators usually set a 1% edge on their own crypto crash games, and the crash point comes from the seeds, so the multiplier you see was decided before the round began.
Spribe's Aviator is the best-known branded version, with a published 97% RTP and a multiplayer feed showing other players' cashouts. Playing crypto Aviator at 97% RTP costs about $3 per $100 wagered, slightly more than a 1% in-house crash game.
Dice
The simplest provably fair game. You pick a target number and bet the roll lands over or under it. Win chance and payout are linked by one formula that includes the edge, which makes dice the cleanest game for seeing the house edge at work. With crypto dice, a 49.5% win chance at a 1% edge pays 2x, where a truly fair coin flip would need the full 50%. That missing half a percent is the casino's cut.
Plinko
A ball drops through rows of pegs into a slot with a multiplier. You pick rows and risk, and those settings reshape the paytable. The paytable, not the pegs, sets the edge, which is why crypto Plinko at one casino can be cheaper than the same-looking board at another.
Mines
A grid of tiles, some hiding mines. Each safe tile raises your multiplier; hit a mine and the round is lost. More mines means steeper multipliers. In crypto mines, each step's multiplier is the true odds of surviving it, trimmed by the edge.
Chicken cross and lane games
A newer instant-game style where a chicken crosses lanes of traffic, with the multiplier rising each lane. Difficulty settings change how likely each step is to end the round. The best-known title is InOut's Chicken Road, and every chicken cross crypto game lives or dies on one decision: when to stop walking.
How crypto casino games count toward a bonus
Every welcome offer has a wagering requirement (also called rollover or playthrough). The terms also say how much each game type counts toward it. This is the clause that most often turns a decent bonus into an expensive one.
The usual pattern is slots at 100% and everything else at a fraction. Two casinos on our sheet publish their numbers, and they show the range well.
| Casino | Wagering | Base | Slots count | Other games count |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bets.io | 40x | bonus + free-spin winnings | 100% | 5% |
| Betpanda | 80x | deposit + bonus | 100% | live games 20%, other games 0% |
Worked example: the same bonus on two different games
Take a $100 bonus at 40x on the bonus only. That is $4,000 of counted wagering.
On a slot with a 2% edge counting at 100%, you wager $4,000 and expect to lose about $80. That is the clearing cost our Clear score is built on.
Now try it on blackjack at 0.5% edge, counting at 5%. Each $1 bet counts as $0.05, so you need $80,000 of real bets to reach $4,000. At 0.5% that is about $400 of expected loss. The game with the lower edge costs five times more to clear the bonus, because the contribution rate wipes out the advantage.
What this means at Bets.io and Betpanda
At Bets.io, slots count 100% and other games 5%, there is a 2 USDT maximum bet while the bonus is active, and you have 7 days to wager after a 1-day activation window. In practice that means slots only. The Bets.io review has the full staged offer with codes.
At Betpanda the requirement is 80x on deposit plus bonus within 7 days. On a $100 deposit with a $100 bonus, that is $16,000 of counted wagering. On slots at 2%, roughly $320 expected cost. On live games at 20%, you would need $80,000 of real live bets, and even at the baccarat banker's 1.06% edge that is about $848. The Betpanda review sets the offer against its Lightning payouts and caps.
Offers where game choice does not matter
Wager-free cashback and rakeback are the exception. Cocobet's welcome offer is 50% cashback on first-week net losses, paid wager-free. Winna pays rakeback worth 5% of theoretical loss, credited straight to your balance. Neither restricts which games you play, which suits table and live players far better than a slots-only bonus.
The board and number games have their own pages too, each with a free play-money demo you can try before reading the maths. Crypto pachinko launches balls into a pocket board rather than dropping them through a pyramid, crypto keno is a lottery-style draw with paytables you can check against the odds, and crypto limbo strips crash down to a single target multiplier. For card players, crypto hi-lo prices each guess from the card showing, and the crypto wheel game shows how segment counts and risk levels set the return.
Game libraries across the 17 casinos
Library size is not a quality score, but it does tell you how much choice you have. These counts come from each operator's own published figures.
| Casino | Games | Studios |
|---|---|---|
| Bets.io | 14,488 | 100+ |
| mBit Casino | 11,000+ | 70 |
| Ybets | 11,000 | 82 |
| CasinoCrypto.io | 10,000+ | 97 |
| Crypto-Games.io | 10,000+ | 50 |
| Vave | 10,000 | 80 |
| Jack | 8,000+ | 80 |
| Cocobet | 8,000+ | 30 |
| BitStarz | 7,500 | 87 |
| BC.Game | 7,200+ | 61 |

| Betpanda | 6,000+ | not stated |
| TrustDice | 1,500+ | 60 |
| Qzino | 1,428 | 36 |
A few notes on reading this table. BC.Game lists 74 provably fair Originals within its 7,200+, which matters more to crash and dice players than the slot count. The BC.Game review covers those Originals and its published withdrawal caps.
BitStarz pairs 7,500 games with 87 studios, one of the higher studio counts on the sheet, plus a welcome offer that costs about $80 per $100 to clear. The BitStarz review lays out the 40x bonus-only terms.
Studio count is a better proxy for variety than game count. Ten thousand games from 30 studios will contain many near-identical titles; 7,500 from 87 studios will be more varied.
Myths that cost money
Casino games attract folklore. Most of it is harmless, but some of it leads straight to bigger bets and faster losses.
"The game is due a win"
Each round is independent. A slot that has not paid a bonus round in 300 spins is exactly as likely to pay one on spin 301 as on spin 1. A roulette wheel that has landed red eight times has the same 18 in 37 chance of red on the ninth spin. Past results do not charge up future ones.
"I can see a pattern in the crash history"
Crash and Aviator show the last few dozen multipliers, and the brain finds patterns in them. Those results come from seeds that were fixed in advance. A run of low crashes does not make a high one more likely. The history bar is decoration, not data.
"This predictor app tells me when to cash out"
Predictor apps and Telegram "signal" groups for Aviator, Mines and crash do not work. With provably fair games, the next result depends on a server seed you cannot see until it is rotated. Anyone who could predict it would not sell the method for a few dollars. Many of these apps exist to collect your login or push you to a specific casino.
"Martingale guarantees a profit"
Doubling after each loss wins small amounts most of the time and loses a large amount occasionally. Start at $1 on a near-even bet, and ten losses in a row means your next bet is $1,024 with $1,023 already lost. Table maximums and your own balance stop the chain long before the maths can work in your favour. The edge applies to every dollar of every bet, whatever order you place them in.
"Bigger bets get better odds"
RTP is the same at $0.10 and $100 a spin. The only thing that changes with bet size is how fast you move through your bankroll.
Picking crypto casino games for what you want
There is no best game, only a best game for a goal. Here are the common ones.
You want to clear a welcome bonus
Play slots, because they usually count at 100%. Pick a high-RTP title with low to medium volatility so the balance survives the rollover. Stay under the max-bet clause. The cost is the wagering times the edge, so a 98% slot clears a 40x bonus for about half the expected cost of a 96% one.
You want the longest session for your money
Blackjack with basic strategy, or baccarat on the banker bet, without a bonus active. The edges are about 0.5% and 1.06%, and both are low volatility. A $100 bankroll at $2 a hand can last a very long evening.
You want a shot at a big multiplier
High-volatility slots, high-risk Plinko with many rows, or crash with a high target. The edge is similar to other games, but the results are lumpier. Set a loss limit before you start and treat the stake as spent.
You want to check every result
Stick to provably fair originals. Set your own client seed, rotate it after a session, and verify a handful of rounds. It takes a couple of minutes and removes any doubt about whether a result was fixed in your favour or against you.
You want to play with stable values
Deposit in a stablecoin such as USDT or USDC, so a $50 session stays a $50 session. With BTC or ETH balances, the coin's price can move more in an hour than the house edge takes from you in a week. That is a separate risk from the game, and an easy one to switch off.
Settings worth changing before you play
The tinkerer habit applies to casino games as much as to software: open the panel, find the switch, set it deliberately. These take a minute and save real money.
Read the info panel. Every slot and table lists its RTP and rules. Check the number before you spin, since the same slot can run at different RTPs on different sites.
Set your own client seed. On provably fair games, change the default seed to your own string. It costs nothing and puts part of the randomness in your hands.
Use auto cashout with care. In crash and Aviator, auto cashout removes hesitation. It does not change the edge, but it stops you from riding a multiplier out of greed.
Turn off bonus auto-claim. Some casinos credit a bonus to your first deposit by default. If you plan to play live or table games, a slots-only bonus is a cost, not a gift. Decline it before you deposit.
Set deposit and loss limits. Most casinos offer these in account settings. Set them while you are calm, not mid-session. Limits, cool-offs and self-exclusion are the core of responsible crypto gambling, and Gambling Therapy offers free support worldwide.
Check where you are allowed to play. Whether online gambling is legal depends on where you live, and each operator publishes its own restricted-country list. Check both before you sign up.
How we judge game offers
We do not rank games by how fun they are. We look at what the operator publishes: the RTP in the info panel, the house edge on originals, the contribution table in the bonus terms, and any max-bet or game-restriction clauses.
Then we do the arithmetic and show it. That is the core of how we test crypto casinos: read the terms, price the offer, and show the working so you can check it. Every casino on the toplist also passed the Haxies group's multi-source testing and Team Lead Harrison Ayla's interview before placement. Payout speeds shown are the speeds the operators state.
Where a figure is missing from the operator's terms, we say "not published" rather than guess. Several casinos on the sheet have unread or partly read terms, and their Clear scores are marked provisional until we price them.
Crypto casino games questions
What crypto casino game has the best odds?
Blackjack played with basic strategy has the lowest edge of the common games, at about 0.5% under standard rules. Baccarat's banker bet is next at 1.06%. Among crypto originals, dice, crash and Plinko are often set at a 1% edge, but the operator chooses, so check the game's info panel.
Are crypto casino games rigged?
Provably fair games let you verify that each result was fixed before you bet, using a hashed server seed, your client seed and a nonce. Slots and RNG tables rely on studio certification instead. Neither method makes a game cheap; every game still has a house edge built in.
What is the difference between RTP and house edge?
They are two ways of writing the same number. A game with 97% RTP has a 3% house edge. RTP tells you the long-run average payback per $100 wagered, and the house edge is what the casino keeps from that $100 on average.
Which games count toward a crypto casino bonus?
Slots usually count at 100%. Table, live and original games often count at 5% to 20%, or not at all. At Bets.io other games count 5%; at Betpanda live games count 20% and other games 0%. Always find the contribution table in the bonus terms before playing.
Can you win money on crypto casino games?
You can win in any single session, because results vary. Over time, the house edge means the average player loses a small percentage of everything wagered. Treat any money you deposit as the cost of entertainment, and stop when that budget is gone.
Do Aviator or Mines predictors work?
No. Provably fair results depend on a server seed that stays secret until you rotate it, so nobody outside the casino can know the next outcome. Predictor apps and signal groups are scams, and some are built to steal account logins.
Is it legal to play crypto casino games?
That depends on where you live. Each casino publishes its own list of restricted countries, and local law may restrict online gambling separately. Check both before you sign up, and do not use tools that hide your location if the casino's terms forbid it.
Why do slots have different RTPs at different casinos?
Many studios release the same slot in several RTP versions, and the operator picks which one to run. The game looks identical, but one site might run 96.5% and another 94%. The current figure is shown in the slot's info or paytable screen.
