This crypto casino FAQ collects the questions we hear most, grouped by topic, with short answers you can act on. Where a brand comes up, the facts come from the operator terms we have read, with the date we read them.
We have kept the answers tight. Each one tells you what matters, which clause to look for, and where the maths sits. Think of it as popping the hood before you hand over any coins.
One rule runs through all of it. Whether online gambling is legal for you depends on where you live, and every operator publishes its own restricted-country list. Check both before you sign up anywhere.
Crypto casino FAQ: choosing a casino
What is a crypto casino?
A crypto casino is an online casino that accepts deposits and pays withdrawals in cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT or Litecoin. Some also take cards or e-wallets through a fiat rail. The games are mostly the same slots, tables and live dealers you find elsewhere, plus in-house "originals" like crash, dice and Plinko.
How do you rank crypto casinos?
We use the Haxies Index, a score out of 100 built from three parts: Clear (40 points) for how cheap the welcome offer is to turn into withdrawable money, Cashout (35) for stated payout speed minus a penalty for published caps, and Cover (25) for a published licence number, a named owner and 24/7 support. Our list of the best crypto casinos applies that score to all 17 operators we track. Partner casinos are shown first in that list with a "Partner" badge, but their scores and Index ranks are worked out the same way as everyone else's.
Do you test the casinos yourselves?
Yes. Every casino on Haxies was tested and confirmed by multiple sources in the Haxies group, and Team Lead Harrison Ayla interviewed each brand and approved it before it was listed. Payout speeds and terms on our pages are still the operator's stated figures. The full process sits under how we test crypto casinos, including every point band.
Who is behind Haxies?
The Haxies group, a team from app development and consumer products that shifted to blockchain and worked hand in hand with operators such as Stake and BC.Game. Harrison Ayla is the Team Lead and approves every listing.
What should I check before signing up?
Start with five things: the licence number and who issued it, the owner company, the withdrawal caps, the bonus wagering terms and the restricted-country list. If any of those is missing or vague, that is information too. A casino that hides its caps usually has a reason.
Are new casinos worth trying?
They can be, since new operators often run bigger offers to win players. They also have less track record, so the vetting matters more. In our data, Cocobet launched in June 2026, and CasinoCrypto.io and Qzino in 2026, while BitStarz and mBit Casino date back to 2014.
Bonuses and wagering
What is a wagering requirement?
A wagering requirement, also called rollover or playthrough, is how much you must bet before bonus money becomes withdrawable. A $100 bonus at 40x on the bonus means $4,000 of bets. The multiple matters, but so does what it applies to.
How do I work out what a bonus really costs?
Multiply the wagering multiple by the wagering base, then by the house edge of the game you will play. A $100 bonus at 40x on the bonus is $4,000 of turnover, and at about a 2% slot edge that is roughly $80 of expected cost. That is why Wild.io, BitStarz and Bets.io sit at $80 per $100 claimed in our data.
Why does "deposit plus bonus" matter so much?
When wagering applies to deposit plus bonus, your required turnover roughly doubles on a 100% match. Deposit $100, get $100, and 40x on $200 is $8,000 of bets, or about $160 of expected cost at a 2% edge. The same 40x on bonus only would be half that.
Which bonuses are cheapest to clear?
In our data sheet, the cheapest priced offers are 40x on the bonus only: Wild.io, BitStarz and Bets.io, all at $80 per $100. Wager-free offers like Cocobet's first-week cashback and Winna's rakeback avoid rollover entirely. The table below prices every welcome offer by clearing cost.
| Casino | Welcome offer | Wagering | Base | Clearing cost per $100 | Clear |

| Rainbet | 100% + 20 free spins, then 50% + 20, then 100% + 20 | 40x | deposit + bonus | $208 | 14/40 |
Do I need a bonus code?
Most crypto casinos apply the welcome offer automatically. In our data, only Bets.io publishes codes for its welcome stages (BETSFTD, BETS75 and BETS50). Our list of crypto casino bonus codes explains when a code is needed and why it never changes the wagering maths.
Is there a no-deposit bonus?
None of the 17 operators we track currently lists a pure no-deposit offer in its terms. The nearest alternatives are wager-free cashback, rakeback and no-wager spins tied to a deposit, such as Jack's 100 no-wager spins on a $50 deposit. Treat any "free no-deposit code" from a random site with suspicion.
What is a max bet rule?
Many bonuses cap your stake while wagering is active. Bets.io, for example, caps bets at 2 USDT with a bonus running. Breaking the cap can void the bonus and any winnings from it, so set your stake before you start.
Do all games count toward wagering?
Rarely. Slots usually count 100%, while table games, live casino and originals count less. Bets.io counts other games at 5%, and Betpanda counts live games at 20% and other games at 0%. If you mainly play crash or dice, a match bonus is usually a poor fit.
How long do I have to clear a bonus?
Time limits vary and can be short. Bets.io, for example, gives 1 day to activate each stage and 7 days to wager it, and Betpanda's summarised terms also allow 7 days. Divide the required turnover by the days you have to see whether the pace is realistic for your normal stake.
Are bonus winnings capped?
Sometimes. Bets.io caps bonus winnings at 5x the deposit, so a big run while wagering may be trimmed when the bonus converts. Look for words like "maximum conversion" or "max cashout" in the bonus terms before you opt in.
Deposits, coins and networks
Which coin is best for a crypto casino?
It depends on what you value. Stablecoins like USDT or USDC keep your balance steady in dollar terms. Litecoin, TRC-20 USDT, Solana and Bitcoin over Lightning are usually cheap and quick to move, while on-chain Bitcoin and Ethereum can cost more in fees when networks are busy.
What is the difference between TRC-20 and ERC-20 USDT?
They are the same token on different blockchains. TRC-20 runs on Tron and usually costs very little to send, while ERC-20 runs on Ethereum and pays Ethereum gas, which can be much higher. Always match the network in the casino's cashier to the network you send from, as the USDT casinos comparison explains in detail.
What happens if I send coins on the wrong network?
The funds may be lost, or recoverable only with manual help and a fee, at the operator's discretion. Copy the deposit address fresh each time, check the network label twice and send a small test amount first if you are unsure. For XRP and some other coins, a missing destination tag causes the same problem.
Who pays the network fee?
You do, almost always. Most operators in our data list no withdrawal fee of their own but note that the network cost is yours. Qzino is an exception that publishes its own per-coin withdrawal fees, such as 0.0005 BTC.
Which casinos accept Bitcoin Lightning?
In our data sheet, BC.Game and Betpanda confirm Lightning. Lightning payments settle in seconds with tiny fees, which suits small deposits and withdrawals. The bitcoin casinos list covers on-chain fees, confirmations and Lightning together.
How many confirmations does a deposit need?
Each operator sets its own number per coin. Bitcoin deposits often need one to three confirmations, at roughly ten minutes each, while faster chains like Solana or Tron credit in under a minute. The cashier usually shows the requirement next to the deposit address.
Comparing common deposit coins
| Coin and network | Typical fee size | Typical speed | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|---|
| BTC on-chain | Varies with mempool, can be high | 10 to 60 minutes | Fees on small amounts |
| BTC Lightning | Very low | Seconds | Only where the cashier supports it |
| ETH / ERC-20 | Varies with gas, can be high | Minutes | Gas spikes, wrong contract |
| USDT TRC-20 | Low | About a minute | Picking the wrong network |
| LTC | Low | Minutes | Coin price moves |
| SOL | Very low | Seconds | SPL token vs native SOL |
| XRP | Very low | Seconds | Destination tag |
Withdrawals, speed and limits
How fast do crypto casinos pay out?
Speeds vary, and our figures are what operators state. Cybet, Cocobet, Winna, TrustDice, CasinoCrypto.io and Crypto-Games.io state instant payouts, though Cocobet, Winna and CasinoCrypto.io also publish withdrawal caps. Jack states under 5 minutes, and Bets.io states anywhere from instant to 48 hours. The ranking of fast payout crypto casinos sorts all 17 by stated speed and caps.

| Ybets | Fast crypto payouts, unspecified | No published withdrawal limits | None disclosed on crypto payouts. Network cost is | 16/35 |
Why is my withdrawal pending?
Most delays come from three places: an internal pending window, a manual review (often on a first or large withdrawal), and network confirmations after the coins are sent. BitStarz, for example, says every withdrawal is subject to an internal audit. Contact support with your transaction details if a stated window has clearly passed.
What are withdrawal caps?
Caps limit how much you can take out per day, week or month. Betpanda publishes €5,000 per 24 hours, €15,000 per week and €45,000 per month, BC.Game publishes €10,000 per month, and Winna lists $10,000 per 24 hours. A big win at a capped casino can take months to withdraw, so check the cap before you play high.
Is there a minimum withdrawal?
Yes, usually. In our data, Qzino lists 2 USDT, CasinoCrypto.io $10, Rainbet $15 and Bets.io 30 USDT or €30 equivalent. Low minimums matter if you play small and want to take profits often.
Do I have to wager my deposit before withdrawing?
Some casinos require it, typically 1x the deposit, as an anti-money-laundering step. Bets.io and BC.Game list 1x deposit turnover before withdrawal, and Jack's general terms require 1x of the first deposit plus free-spin winnings. Check this before depositing money you may want back quickly.
Should I withdraw in the coin I deposited?
Usually yes, and some casinos require it for anti-money-laundering reasons. Withdrawing in the same coin and network also avoids conversion spreads. If you want a different coin, check whether the cashier offers an in-wallet swap and what rate it uses.
KYC and privacy
What does no KYC mean at a crypto casino?
It usually means no identity documents at signup. It rarely means never. Most terms reserve the right to ask for ID, proof of address or a selfie at withdrawal or during an AML review, and Bets.io and BC.Game both say so plainly.
Which casinos ask for documents at signup?
None of the 17 in our data sheet asks for documents at signup. Qzino goes further and states no documents are required even for withdrawal. Our list of no KYC crypto casinos sets out each operator's exact KYC wording.
What triggers a KYC check?
Common triggers are a large withdrawal, unusual deposit patterns, a mismatch between your stated and detected location, linked accounts, and bonus abuse flags. Keeping one account, one consistent location and a clean deposit-to-withdraw trail reduces the odds of a check.
Can I use a VPN?
Most operators forbid VPN use in their terms, and getting caught can lead to frozen winnings. Betpanda markets itself as VPN-friendly, but you should still read its terms and your local law before relying on that. Hiding your location does not change which laws apply to you.
Will verification be in my language?
Not always. Wild.io's terms, for example, say verification, including any video call, is conducted in English. If that would be a problem for you, check before you deposit.
Are crypto casinos safe? Licences and safety
A crypto casino is reasonably safe when it publishes a licence number you can look up, names the company that owns it, states its withdrawal caps and keeps its terms readable. Safety is never guaranteed: an offshore licence gives you limited recourse, so deposit only what you can afford to lose and withdraw winnings regularly.
What licences do crypto casinos hold?
In our data, most hold licences from Anjouan or Curaçao, with one under the Tobique Gaming Commission and one holding a Costa Rica account licence. Betpanda publishes no gambling licence at all, only a Costa Rica company registration, which is not the same thing. Each licence entry is listed in our crypto casino reviews.
How do I check a licence number?
Copy the number from the casino footer or terms, then look it up on the regulator's own register, not the casino's badge. Wild.io, for instance, lists Anjouan ALSI-202504044-FI2. A number that does not appear on the register, or a badge with no number, is a red flag.
What if a casino refuses to pay?
Start with live chat and email, keeping screenshots and transaction IDs. If that fails, file a complaint with the licensing authority named in the terms. Offshore regulators vary in how actively they help, which is one reason we score published owners and licence numbers.
Is my money safe in a casino balance?
A casino balance is held in the operator's hot wallet, not yours, so you carry operator risk while funds sit there. Withdraw regularly to your own wallet rather than parking large balances. This matters more at operators that publish weekly or monthly caps.
How do I keep my gambling under control?
Set deposit limits, use cooling-off and self-exclusion tools where offered, and take breaks. Crypto makes deposits fast, which removes the natural friction of a bank transfer. The responsible crypto gambling page lists tools and worldwide help, including Gambling Therapy, which is free.
Games and fairness
What does provably fair mean?
Provably fair games let you check that the result was fixed before you bet. The operator commits to a hashed server seed, you add a client seed, and a nonce counts rounds. Afterwards the server seed is revealed and you can recompute every result.
Does provably fair mean I will win?
No. It proves the operator did not change results after the fact. The game still has a house edge, set by its RTP, so you lose slowly on average.
What is RTP?
Return to player is the share of total stakes a game pays back over the very long run. A 99% RTP game returns $99 per $100 wagered on average, which is a 1% house edge. Single sessions swing far from that figure.
Which games have the lowest house edge?
Blackjack with basic strategy can run around 0.5%, baccarat banker bets about 1.06%, and many crypto originals like crash and dice about 1%. European roulette is 2.7%, Spribe's Aviator is 3% (97% RTP), and slots typically range from about 2% to 6%. The crypto casino games hub compares them side by side.
Do crash and Plinko predictors work?
No. Outcomes come from random number generators or seeds committed in advance, so nothing in past results predicts the next one. Predictor apps and signal groups are selling something that cannot exist.
Is BC.Game's crash really 99% RTP?
BC.Game lists Crash among its 74 provably fair Originals at a stated 99% RTP. That means about $1 of expected cost per $100 wagered. The crypto crash games page explains how the crash point is set.
More crypto casino questions
Can I play crypto casinos on mobile?
Almost all crypto casinos run in a mobile browser, and some offer apps. You can usually deposit by scanning a QR code from your phone wallet. Check the restricted-country list before installing anything.
Do crypto casinos have sportsbooks?
Many do. In our data, Jack, Cybet, Bets.io, Cocobet, Winna, TrustDice, BC.Game, Crypto-Games.io, Rainbet, Ybets, Vave and Betpanda confirm a sportsbook. One wallet usually covers both the casino and the betting side.
What is rakeback?
Rakeback returns a small share of the house edge on every bet you place, whatever the result. Winna, for example, bases its rakeback on 5% of theoretical loss. It is usually paid without wagering, which makes it simple to value.
What is the difference between cashback and rakeback?
Cashback pays back a percentage of your net losses over a period, so it only pays when you lose. Rakeback pays on every bet regardless of outcome. Cocobet's 50% first-week cashback on net losses and Bets.io's 5% to 10% daily cashback are both loss-based.
Do I pay tax on crypto casino winnings?
That depends entirely on where you live. Some places tax gambling winnings, some do not, and some also tax gains on the crypto itself. Ask a local tax adviser if the amounts matter to you.
How often is your data updated?
Every brand fact on Haxies carries a "Figures read" date, showing when we last read the operator's terms or published summaries of them. We re-read terms regularly and when operators change offers. If you spot something out of date, the corrections process explains how to tell us.
Why is this site called Haxies?
The domain once belonged to Unsanity, a Mac software maker whose add-ons were called haxies. It went dormant, and the Haxies group took it over in 2026. We share the tinkerer spirit but are not affiliated with Unsanity or its former developers.
